Well, what started out like a bummer of a day turned out to be okay after all. It was raining all day long, so Eureka rescheduled all of the events planned for today, which included the inflatable park, parade, and even fireworks. So, we had planned a cookout for several people tonight, and many of them still decided to come, which was wonderful! We didn't do all the fun things we had planned, but it was fun just the same. We did have our cookout and even got the opportunity to do some sparklers for the kids. Olivia was not too fond of the sparklers, and really needed someone to hold her the entire time. She even curled up with Patrick, which was surprisingly cause she doesn't get a chance to spend time with him too often. But, you could tell she just really wanted someone to hold her away from the excitement. Everyone had a great time though, and we will just have to join the other festivities tomorrow.
